Amara is a Chilean-Spanish actress of Afro-descendant origin and a bilingual English-Spanish speaker. She graduated from the prestigious acting program at Carnegie Mellon in Pennsylvania and made her film debut in "CHA CHA CHA REAL SMOOTH, LET'S DANCE!" (2022), directed by Cooper Raiff and produced by Dakota Johnson's company TeaTime. The film had its premiere at the Sundance Festival in 2022 and won the "Audience Award - U.S Dramatic Competition". Amara also starred in the short film "TRANSEÚNTES", directed by Chilean director based in New York Iñaki Velásquez in 2022. In series, she participated in the series "EL PRESIDENTE", produced by the recognized producer Fabula for Amazon Prime. In theater, she has taken on lead roles in shows in the USA such as "Everybody" and "I HOPE THEY HAUNT YOU". She has also participated in original projects such as "HOW TO LIVE FOREVER" AND "THEATAR PROJECT NEVERLAND", where she used Augmented Reality (XR) technology in a theater space. With experience in voice acting, she has worked on projects such as "MACBADTH", a theatrical podcast, and "Life is a Dream" for Trafika Europe Radio.
